Marine Court is sited a stone’s throw from the beach in Southsea. Work involved the demolition of a small unusable single storey space and its’ replacement with a larger, airy single storey extension. This in turn created an open plan kitchen, dining and living area.
The extension is brick built with a glass reinforced plastic (GRP) roof offering a tough and long lasting finish to the timber joisted flat roof. Large Velfac windows and doors allow an abundance of light through the kitchen, dining and living areas. A cedar decked veranda, constructed by our expert carpenters, allows the indoor and outdoor areas to flow into each other making the garden an integral feature of this extension.
Carpentry work also involved a bespoke kitchen featuring marble worktops and island end panels crafted from reclaimed scaffold boards. Engineered oak floor boards were specified creating warmth both visually and underfoot due to the newly installed underfloor heating system.
The log burning stove is the final touch in creating a cosy retreat in winter.
