Situated in a village bordering the Chichester channel, this project involved converting a barn into an idyllic holiday cottage – perfect for a family break.
The conversion and refurbishment took an unused barn and transformed it into an open plan family friendly two bedroomed cottage.
To create the perfect holiday space, the downstairs area was expanded to create an open plan full kitchen, dining and living room alongside a spacious entry way and down stairs wet room. Upstairs, the work involved the loft area being transformed to incorporate two guest bedrooms and a spacious bathroom.
Velfac windows and doors were installed throughout the barn alongside rooflights in the upstairs bedroom and hall to introduce natural light to the space. To the exterior, the team installed matching larch cladding to give the newly modernised holiday home the authentic barn look.
