The aim of this project, Driftwood, was to give the customer a modern, energy efficient home.

When the customer originally moved in, in 2021, the homeowners completely remodelled the house and added a two-storey extension to the rear. Their aim was to make sure all living spaces looked out on to the sea.

The customer wanted a window system that was durable with low energy performance, she booked a visit at our Portsmouth showroom and found that VELFAC Triple Glazed windows was what she was looking for. VELFAC triple glazed windows were the perfect match for Driftwood due to the contemporary style, durable materials, and low energy performance. They also opted for Solar glass to reduce excess heat.

As well as VELFAC, the customer combined the Solarlux SL 179 Lift and Slide with the Rationel Aura Plus sliding door. The combination of products delivered the durability and energy performance required for this costal property.
