Great Quarry – VELFAC V200
Set against the striking backdrop of a former chalk quarry, this project replaced an existing conservatory with a contemporary extension.
The homeowners removed the original conservatory and remodelled the space to create a bright, open-plan living area. As a result, the extension now offers more natural light and a greater sense of space.
To maximise daylight, the project team specified VELFAC windows and doors alongside VELUX rooflights. Together, these products bring light deep into the interior and support natural ventilation.
The VELFAC V200 system proved an ideal choice for the project. Its slim frames maximise glazed areas, while the durable powder-coated aluminium exterior provides long-lasting performance. Inside, the timber frames create a warm and welcoming finish.

What Our Clients Say

Westcott Architectural Glazing supplied and fitted all the windows and doors in our self build home. They were incredibly helpful during the whole project. The fitters were great and very promptly returned for a couple of snags. A wonderful service, I would highly recommend.

Just like to say a big thank you to Ryan, Fraser, Tommy, Luke and Tomasz for their commitment to get the installation right (it was a late night). I don’t usually single people out for a special mention but to Fraser who tried his best to get the old unit out with out damaging the render, minimising damage to internal finishes and keeping to task and in good humour when the dimensions weren’t working out. Thanks to Ryan and Tomas for completing the work the next day.

I have forgotten their names already but wanted to say what a great job they did. The doors are really easy to use now and operate as new. Both guys were efficient and went to great lengths to explain to me what I needed to do in terms of future maintenance which wasn’t easy for them given I’m blind. So very positive feedback from me about their professionalism and approach.
