FAQs
Do you have a showroom? What products are on display?
Yes, we have showrooms in Portsmouth and Chichester. Please visit our Contact Us page for more information. We supply VELFAC, Rationel, Solarlux, Internorm and Spitfire doors.
Do you provide a site measure service?
Yes we do. Our trained surveyors will come to site and take multiple measurements, consider access, delivery restrictions and finished floor levels to name but a few items.
Do you supply curved, round, shaped windows?
Yes, all of our product ranges can be specified in multiple shapes and sizes. Please visit our work for some examples.
What security features do your windows have?
All of our windows come equipped with high-security multi-point locking as standard. Our products are fully Part Q compliant, ensuring they meet rigorous safety standards. Additionally, we offer a range of Secured by Design (SBD) products.
What U Value can your products achieve?
Our products can achieve U-values as low as 0.8W/m²K. Thanks to their advanced construction, our windows maximize natural sunlight while minimizing heat loss. This can help you reduce energy consumption and potentially save up to 30% on heating costs compared to traditional window styles.
How do I care for and maintain my windows?
Our windows are designed for long-lasting performance with minimal maintenance. The powder-coated aluminium frames are highly durable, resisting even the harshest conditions. External components are exposed to weather and environmental factors such as pollution and coastal salt, so regular care helps preserve their appearance and function. Clean the frames and glass with lukewarm water and a mild detergent, using a soft cloth or sponge only – avoid abrasive materials. To keep everything operating smoothly, clean and lubricate all hinges and moving parts once a year with an acid-free oil.
What warranty is offered?
Please refer to our individual products pages for details of each Manufacturer’s warranty.
How do I report a problem with my window or door?
Please call us to arrange the best route forward. Please find our contact details here
Are you FENSA certified?
We are proud to be FENSA certified. FENSA (Fenestration Self-Assessment Scheme) is a government-authorised body that verifies compliance and quality standards and applies to the replacement of windows and doors in existing properties across England and Wales. This certification ensures all our replacement window and door installations meet current building regulations for energy efficiency and safety.
Why do I have condensation on my windows?
Condensation can appear in different places for different reasons. If it’s on the outside of the glass, it’s actually a good sign – it shows your glazing is highly energy efficient and preventing heat loss. If condensation forms between the panes, the glazing seal has failed and the unit will need to be replaced. Condensation on the inside of the window occurs when warm, moist indoor air meets a cold glass surface, often during colder months. Common causes include high humidity from cooking, showering, or drying clothes indoors, combined with limited ventilation.
What materials are your windows and doors available in?
Our windows and doors are available in a variety of materials to suit different design and performance needs:
- VELFAC: A blend of timber and aluminium, combining the natural warmth of wood internally with the durability of aluminium externally.
- Rationel: Primarily timber, with options for aluminium cladding on the exterior for enhanced weather resistance.
- Internorm: Available in aluminium clad timber, aluminium clad UPVC and fully UPVC allowing for high energy efficiency and durability.
- Solarlux: Primarily aluminium, with options for fully timber and aluminium clad timber, specializing in large glass panels for modern architectural designs.

Each product is rigorously tested to meet or exceed the required standards for energy efficiency and structural integrity. When installed by our professional team, your windows and doors are guaranteed to meet all relevant compliance requirements, giving you complete peace of mind.
How do your products address sustainability and the environment?
Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do, and it’s a core value shared by all the brands we represent. From responsibly sourced timber and recyclable materials to energy-efficient manufacturing, each brand is committed to reducing its environmental impact. Internorm’s advanced Austrian production facilities minimise waste, water use and emissions, while the Danish craftsmanship of VELFAC and Rationel prioritises renewable materials and long product lifespans. Spitfire supports sustainability through precision-engineered aluminium doors designed for durability and low maintenance, reducing waste over time. What Our Clients Say
See All TestimonialsAnne, United Kingdom
This company contacted me two years after installing our windows to check whether we had any problems. I said they were fine except I had never been able to open one of the air vents. The next day, they happened to be working in the area and came round ready to replace the vent. In the event, that was not necessary and they applied silicon spray to all the vents to loosen them. They are now all open. This is exemplary customer service from a company that had originally installed them quickly and efficiently with little fuss.
